Kemplay Roundabout.

Back in 2018 we explored ideas to improve Kemplay Roundabout that currently casues a lot of traffic disruption in and around Penrith.

Evolve Penrith worked to evolve a proposal that would see the A66 put into an underpass and the current roundabout redesigned into a new configuration with a smaller footprint, No traffic lights and result in free flow of traffic and reduced polution in the area.

Highways England have taken this concept forward in a slighly diffrent configuration to be the option as part of the planned A66 upgrade.
